Christmas is near!

November was a quick busy month. Homestretch of work stuff to meet targets. Newly launched business tries to gain more ground and establish footing in the chosen niche.

While other “long-term” investments continue its down trend. As for commuter blues, it gets worse and worse. Sigh. O well. Here’s the November installment, the 2nd to the last for the year. O really how time flies.

November 2013

Day Bite-size Gist
1
God loves us not because of who we are but because of who He is.
2
Faith is not instant, it is enduring, it is patient.
3
The next person you meet may need to meet Jesus. Keep an eye on those ripe for harvest.
4
Our salvation is secure because God is holding it.
5
Concentrate on God’s goodness and depend on it.
6
Our emotions can have a profound effect on our bodies. And the condition of our bodies can affect our emotions.
7
Believers at war with their sister and brother cannot be at peace with the Father.
8
Look for the blessing in every burden.
9
If you are not fishing for souls, you are not following the Savior.
10
Live today as if it is your last. As if the end of all things is at hand.
11
No God-praise is ever too much. Being God-conscious means being less self-conscious. Let out your praise!
12
Others have died so we might live.
13
Jesus makes the universe a cosmos instead of chaos.
14
Be clothed with humility.
15
Not all gifts are free. Some have hidden price tags.
16
God forgives. But we must also forgive ourselves and forget the sin, but not the lesson.
17
God loves feasting and prosperity too!
18
Don’t lose your spiritual credibility due to hatred. Love your enemies.
19
This life is not all there is. We need not have everything in this life, but in the afterlife we shall have everything we need.
20
God sends trials not to impair us but to improve us.
21
Choose daily: grumbling or gratitude? Grumbling overlooks blessings but gratitude finds blessings everywhere.
22
Count your blessings. Recount if necessary.
23
Christmas is about “waiting on the Lord”, not waiting in shopping lines.
24
Discipline your self and others won’t have to.
25
Follow the leader who follows Christ.
26
The purpose is godly instruction is a life that reflects radical inner change.
27
To ease another’s burden, help to carry it.
28
What is required is dogged endurance, keeping at the task of obedience through ebbs and flows, ups and downs, victories and losses in life. It is trying again, knowing that God is working in you to accomplish His purpose, knowing that God never never ever gives up.
29
Repentance is necessary to enter into a relationship with Christ. Then, daily repentance.
30
When we keep our eyes fixed on Christ, we see obstacles as opportunities.

How many days to go before Christmas?
