Daily Bread Challenge June 2013(2-min read)

Whew!

We’re halfway through 2013! Back to school, back to (more scary) rainy season. Miami Heat wins the NBA championship though I was really rooting for the Spurs with their last hurrah. PSE shows that a bull will also have to catch its breath, and of course our Independence Day (and Tatay’s birthday).

Here’s the Daily Bread gists for June. Again, if you check out Jan2013 post, you’ll notice that I’m using a version not meant for the current year. But that’s okay. It’s the reflection that counts.

Our tongues can create life or death.
27
Instead of being enamored by our success today and our plans for tomorrow, remember that our time is in God’s hands and each day is a gift from Him.
28
To parents disciplining children: Your primary concern is not what they think of you now, but what they will think of you 20 years later.
29
Overlooking sin allows it to grow.
30
Only those who are ready to die physically and spiritually are ready to live.

How’s your progress vis-a-vis your 2013 goals? 6 more months to go, are you on track?
