Wake me up when September ends. It just did. How time really flies.

Sep1 marked my first year anniversary with my commander. Still the ongoing investigations and news on misuse of public funds, plus the usual seasonal weather disturbances. My team gets booted out of UAAP semis, first time long time.

Oh, a major rebranding and renovation are ongoing, started in Sep29. After all, investments are not just about money. Below is a good example.

Here’s the September issue of our Daily Bread Challenge. In case you’re wondering what this is all about, here are the previous issues.

September 2013

Day Bite-size Gist
1
Nothing lasts forever. Except God’s overflowing mercy, that is.
2
Are you using your God-given gifts?
3
God is our true Boss. So work hard for His glory, above anything else. Sloth is sin!
4
Avoid the tomorrow trap. Obedience and action, not intentions.
5
When God says all things work together for good to those who love Him (Rom. 8:28).

He means ALL things.

6
Our Father’s love has no limit.
7
Even the smallest light shines in the darkness. Your influence matters.
8
Salvation is not turning over a new leaf, but receiving a new life.

Happy birthday Mother Mary!

9
The values we leave our children are more important than the valuables we leave them.
10
At the heart of Christian faith is mystery.
11
The best news is Christ’s good news.
12
We are never alone. Christ is with us to the end of age.
13
We should not trust in ourselves the most but in God.
14
God allows U-turns. It’s never to late to come back to Him.
15
Accept Christ as your Saviour.
16
Even through suffering, God is working for our good. Always. (Rom. 8:28)
17
Be humble.
18
There is no lasting earthly satisfaction. Whether we realize or not, our souls thirst for God.
19
Don’t let anything get between you and God.
20
Don’t be distracted by every small thing that crosses your path. Keep your eyes on Christ.
21
Religion can reform, but only the Gospel can transform.
22
Make your life a good testimony of your faith.
23
Life’s greatest joy is the prospect of one day going to Heaven.
24
Jesus is coming back. And He means it.
25
In facing people who (want to) bring us down: What Would Jesus Do?
26
The ground is level at the foot of the cross.
27
Faith and science can co-exist. Look at creation and the universe.
28
Are you merely listening to Jesus or keeping and living His words?
29
Everyone shall face God as Savior or as Judge.
30
Jesus is beside us, and in us, all the time. He can see us, hear us and know our every thought.

Hey, it’s the 4Q already! It’s almost Christmas!
